I think that its just the mentality of a lot of people who enter the police force. They either want to be the hero or be in control.

There are genuinely nice ones though, like when my car got hit by a drunk driver on New years eve 2 years ago. The officer that responded was very supportive.

I've met crime scene investigators (who were nice. Really nice in fact) and a few constables who were dickish, but they seemed more stressed than actively malicious.

So, just got off a ponyfic IRC. This one person is talking about a teacher from her school that got fired for having an affair with a student. Someone else in the channel asks if it was a guy or a girl. He basically says "Cause I'd be giving the guy a hi-five if it was a female teacher."

To which I replied by telling him he was full of shit. Never done that before.

Well, if we want something pony-related, we could bring up an old story idea I thought of.

It relies on the theory that Celestia's guards wear an armor that buffs them and makes them all look alike, but...

The CMC get their hooves on the armor and get mistaken for guards. Hijinks Ensue.

Agreed. And I've been wondering about those guards for a long time, why they look the same and have the same Cutie Mark. I mean I know the real reason for it, but it'd be nice if there was an in-universe explanation.
