@Moe, Kyler: I have an early 2002 64MB USB flash drive in my thumbdrive collection. It hails from the days when they used to have mechanical write-protect switches just like floppy disks

@CDRW: The Vista and 7 versions of Minesweeper have been beefed up with higher-res graphics, more animations, and some minor tweaks.

@Ed: I know, I used to have a tabletop powered external CD-RW drive. Nowadays I've an awesome uberhybrid disc drive stuck in my desktop (no Blu-ray though). I wonder if my old IDE 6x CD-ROM drive from my first desktop still works.

I have an old computer that runs Windows 98, has a 500mhz processor and a 52x CD-ROM drive. The thing works beautifully and is the only way to really play Space Quest.

And I think we scared off the sockpuppets.

I'm not sure there's much point in ponifying Minesweeper. I mean, unless all you really want to do is replace the mines and flags with cutie marks.

Now pony chess, I would go for. A pony chess set, perhaps?

I used 5.25 floppies for ages''! My family's first computer was a 286! Though, I ended up receiving an XT from my grandfather at one point.

I would swap Rarity and Twilight. Twilight is definitely the powerhouse, while Rarity is still important but nowhere near as potent. Bishop and rook could be the Flim Flam brothers? I dunno.

Probably best to wait for season 3 (maybe 4) for them to introduce new major villains to fill out the rogues gallery.

I mean, Trixie and Gilda and Flim and Flam were more jerk-of-the-week than outright bad guy.

Bah, wait until the show ends after seven seasons, three theatrical movies (one of which is so short it often gets mistaken for a direct-to-video special instead), eleven direct-to-video episodes, and then decades later they do a live-action remake and a new OVA that adapts leftover stories from the manga. And we still never get the story where Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash almost get married.

Yes I did just imply that MLP: Friendship is Magic could be America's answer to Ranma ½, although that's probably putting it on too high a pedestal.

I'm just a technomancer who has seen and typed at mueseum-grade machines, like the ancient meterological terminals in the weather station at Old Changi Airport (Terminal One) and the Oldest Computer in the SCDF. Somehow my fingers have the memory of what the 1984s IBM Model M keyboard feels like despite my not actually remembering typing on one
