@Chad: It's not that it's a broken bracket, it's that I didn't have a bracket at all. the old heatsink was built to connet directly to the motherboard, in the same spots were the bracket screws in. I've never built a computer before, so I didn't know that most heatsinks need one.
Naw its more an I always thought Mrs Cakes was in her 40's and I found it odd that she was having kids at that age, because of the risk that humans face having children at that age.

I know a ton of people who looked up the solution online and drilled themselves on it. Most of them can solve it at around a minute or less. Makes me feel inadequate.
