I can see that we are now over 9000.

Can't believe I missed that...

I still don't think I'd like Discworld in general

What I'm hearing just doesn't sound appealing

Hi Con

There are plenty of things that you don't think you'd like till you try them, gingie. Have a little faith for a change.

Bye, crow. I like your Star Trek salt creature avatar, though.

In this case, I don't think he needs to try it. I don't think he would like them, either. Although I haven't read most of them, so I can't be 100% sure on that.

@con It's mostly that I already have enough to watch/read. I'm not into taking chances at the moment. I don't want to go through the effort of finding something only to not like it. Not if I can at least partially help it

Now I don't wanna start another back in forth argument, but what I'm saying is that you shouldn't be afraid of taking a risk and trying something new. Sometimes you will be disappointed and sometimes you will be pleasantly surprised.

Live for those times, huh?

I guess the Discworld gets too irreverent for you huh, Ginger.

Wow, Colin really is enjoying the Final Fantasy V 4 Job Fiesta. I didn't think he would ever get off his comp.
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.

I like irreverence. It's funny.

@Ace What's irreverence?

Mostly, it's that I haven't heard enough about the villains and the heroes are Magnificent Bastards

[up] I'm NOT in a laughing mood

I thought you had a ton to read but nothing to watch.

Not everything with a villain that's a Magnificent Bastard is good.

Not everything without a "good" villain is bad.

And I'm always up for a laugh, especially when I'm lowest.

Wait, I've got it - Small Gods! That one has a great villian.

Y'know, it's funny, I never really thought that the score for Fiddler on the Roof was all that great. But the book, ohhhh man the book. That's some emotionally wracking stuff.

Ooh, and Perpetual Lurker's a bass, too? Sweet!

I tried to suggest watching material. Like the Transformers Movie.

Plus I quote "It's mostly that I already have enough to watch/read."

If you have too much to read and want stuff to watch, why not give the Hogfather movie a try?
