Sooooo 1/3 of the usual, okay.

This thread needs better plot lines or at least a new cast.
I analyze "Geek Culture" here.

When All Else Fails, worry, that's the 14 way.

Why would people pirate indie games? It makes no sense.

[up][up]A new cast? Who would we be played by?

I don't know. I just know he barely ever actually bought games, he just used to pirate a lot of them. which is absurd, because he's a video game artist. He's shooting his own livelihood in the foot there.

I motion to be voiced by Pete Cullen with the Optimus voice[lol]

@Mousa New plot lines would be refreshing.

But anyone who tries to kick me would get manhandled.

Edit: I motion to be voiced by the dude who does the commercials for Hulu.

Hey I wonder if Hazard would consider including Achron in a humble bundle. Apparently sales have been disapointing so far.

Today seems less crowded than usual around the workplace. I wonder if Sugarcube Corner ever had slow days?

Oh hey, I've heard of that. Shitty fanfiction of a shitty series getting published. Somewhat depressing to someone who wants to get published that crap like that can happen.

So, the author wrote erotic Twilight fanfiction, realized that the connections to the original work were small enough to be easily erased, and had it published to great success? It's strange and kinda creepy, but aside from the fact that it's smut, I don't see much of a problem here. Equally bad things get published all the time.

Yeah, you want to know what makes it really depressing?

It sold 10 million copies in its first year. Ray Bradbury's entire catalogue of books sold 8 million copies over his entire career.

I have never been more ashamed of my hobby than I am now. I am not joking. I am genuinely ashamed.

Bad place now, very very bad place.

My brain said " I don't care they're just books."

I was already at a hair trigger in regards to "fan fiction as actual books" thing, this was just one HUGE hit when I only needed a small tap.

I don't really see the origins of the work as relevant, honestly. It looks like it's the kind of stuff aimed at bored women you find on racks in airports, but apparently it has enough cred with the lowest-common-denominator to sell a whole bunch. I guess you could say it's the Michael Bay's Transformers of erotic fiction.

Well, that's MY main issue. Considering I'd given legitimate thought to re purposing and publishing TCYB I can harldy fault it's source, but the fact that it's kink fair and has sold so much is utterly distressing, especially since I can just tell what the reason behind it is.

I personally funded a group (Non-Profit) publishing of Fallout Equestria. Does that make me a bad person?

No, because Fallout Equestria is awesome. [[/double standard]]

Well, at least you didn't try to add it to the wikipedia's "longest novels" article. I hope.

Anyway, watching Korra... that's making me feel better, watching awesome action scenes.

The nature of fanfics can lead to huge novels. Really Fallout Equestria is actually a 3-5 book story.

Have some rarijack
