Oh yeah, forgot there was a new Korra episode today. Guess I'll have to go find that.
It's not just a lack of planning. There's also the fact that format doesn't have the same limitations as print. It's the same reason Webcomics are often a lot bigger and flashier than newspaper comics - because they can.
Though actually, these fanfics have a lot in common with the old serials.

That Fluttershy looks a little out of place in the more realistic environment. Still looks pretty cool though.
Of course the biggest seperation of fanfic and a full novel is that the novel has entirely original content. Even if the characters of FOE are unique, they're still derivative of two universes.
It's such a shame that the Fluttershy isn't good enough to go with the rest of the picture. Anyway, goodnight everbody.

I still am shocked by just how much FOE actually derives from Fallout New Vegas. I mean good lord just look at Dead Money, Then Canterlot.
Red bean bun! Red bean bun~!
Still haven't played enough of New Vegas to get all the references to that yet. Still somewhat annoyed that I bought it right before the version with all the DLC included was released.
Doctor Whooves stuff is always cute.
Ug, I can't sleep, even though it's two hours past my normal bedtime. Does it really only take one day before my sleep schedule gets messed up?

et tu Steve?

The glow of a monitor shines on the Cutie Mark Crusaders and the dusty white older pegasus they're all sleeping huddled around. Surprise sleepily blinks her eyes and looks to see where the light is coming from.
She sees Moe Dantes, working on getting his laptop fixed. She sees the forum loaded up. Surprise smiles and goes back to sleep, hoping this isn't another false start like last time.
The Cutie Mark Crusaders sleep peacefully through the night.
Favorite foods: carrots, oats, sausage and gravy...
That's... oddly heartwarming.
Ok time for Story vs Insomnia round 2.

...Today's episode of Korra was indeed awesome.
Everything's been done. Everything has a meaning. However your life at best is to serve as a building block for others.
4am here, don't think I'll be going to bed soon. Such is the life of a graduate student.
Fallout Equestria musical? Sure why not. I'm not fan of musical but this could be interesting. But I still prefer it to be at least turned into animated series (fan made, it's rather imposible to made it as profesional carton).
Or FOE game.
Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.
