Funnily enough if you look at Fallout Equestria from a distance you can see the obvious climaxes of each "Volume"

It's not just a lack of planning. There's also the fact that format doesn't have the same limitations as print. It's the same reason Webcomics are often a lot bigger and flashier than newspaper comics - because they can.
Though actually, these fanfics have a lot in common with the old serials.

Of course the biggest seperation of fanfic and a full novel is that the novel has entirely original content. Even if the characters of FOE are unique, they're still derivative of two universes.

The glow of a monitor shines on the Cutie Mark Crusaders and the dusty white older pegasus they're all sleeping huddled around. Surprise sleepily blinks her eyes and looks to see where the light is coming from.
She sees Moe Dantes, working on getting his laptop fixed. She sees the forum loaded up. Surprise smiles and goes back to sleep, hoping this isn't another false start like last time.
The Cutie Mark Crusaders sleep peacefully through the night.
Favorite foods: carrots, oats, sausage and gravy...

Well, in (hopefully) good news, my computer seems to be back up. I had to reinstall Windows 7 altogether from some recovery disks I got with my laptop, but more importantly my system now dual-boots Windows 7 and Zorin OS (Ubuntu Linux).
I've decided henceforth that I will strictly use only Zorin for internet browsing, because to the best of my knowledge Linux is practically immune to viruses and Malware and even if it does contract something, all I'll have to do is reinstall it.

Fallout Equestria musical? Sure why not. I'm not fan of musical but this could be interesting. But I still prefer it to be at least turned into animated series (fan made, it's rather imposible to made it as profesional carton).
Or FOE game.
Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.
