I told you we weren't at 9000 pages yet, and you said someone couldn't do math.

Well I saw that we were on page 8899, and then I somehow turned that into 8999, so two pages later I thought it was 9001.

Sounds more like a case of Boss Dissonance than Nintendo Hard, though I'm not one to judge. Though when you said Cave Story, I thought it would be that ludicrously hard game I once found a video of through TV Tropes, which included deaths suchs as nigh invisible monsters in pitch black caves with traps you can't see, and no way to fight back. Can't remember what its called.

I've been getting excited about approaching 9000 since 8000.

I still haven't beaten that stupid guy at the end of Sacred Grounds. Even the normal final bosses took me forever.

I think that's from Earthworm Jim. It's a hidden level, I believe.

I feel like arguing about something. Why is Rainbow Dash interpreted as a Jerkass in Find A Pet? She didn't do anything that Jerkassish.

She learns her lesson, and that's the important thing.

Although, she did fail to learn the definition of "tenacity."

@steve I think people disliked the way she was willing to potentially kill her competitors (yes, I know they were willing participants, but RD even being willing to chance one of them dying was a bit thoughtless of her)

Not mean, just thoughtless

I thought the reason people didn't like that episode was due to the percieved Broken Aesop. If you meant the song, then dunno lol

She was being Genre Savvy. She knew nobody would die.

Then it turned into 127 Hours and she gets rescued.

@Lurker Hence why I said, thoughtless, not mean.

Even SHE sounded nervous when explaining the gorge to them

I know, right?

I mean, I'm not one to shy away from gorn. I'm like, not that way at all.

But when the rock falls on his arm, it's just too real. I just went to my room and watched something else.

Anybody here seen They Saved Hitler\'s Brain or The Lady From Shanghai?

If you haven't seen the second one, I'd recommend it. Orson Welles!!! Squee!

Ah! I hate broken bones, it keeps making me think that my bones are gonna magically break at any minute.

and considering that that's EXACTLY what happened in the latest chapter of CRISIS: Equestria, I'm extra wary

I kinda get the idea it was combined with her actions in MMDW that many fans were assuming she had Took a Level in Jerkass (either episode likely wouldn't have been considered as bad if they hadn't been placed one after the other with less redeeming episodes for her till later on).

But yeah, she seemed more in the "inconsiderate but not mean" territory in Best Pet, I thought she was pretty funny in the gorge scene, especially making her own Leitmotif.

I've broken bones before. Casts suck.

Plus, if you've never seen The Lady From Shanghai, you've prolly seen it parodied and just not realized it.

But seriously, I didn't think what RD is that bad because it was totally in line with her stated goal: find a pet that can keep up with her. Given that she does stuff like the canyon run for fun, she needs a pet that's capable and willing to fly through it with her.

I think the big issue is that the proximity with MMDW made it guilty by association. RD was mildly jerkish in that episode, and then the next episode was worse, and the combination looked really bad.
