I would totally dig an episode with that moral. Righteous fury is the only kinda anger I ever experience, afterall.

They probably can't bring back Tirac for the same reason that they weren't able to use Surprise, Firefly, Poesy, and the like for the Mane 6. They probably don't have the rights to most of the G1 characters anymore. Not to mention that aside form looking scary, he really was a generic evil overlord. He and Nightmare Moon even share the same end goals, even if his reasoning was just generic villainy.
