I've really forgotten... which scene?
But apart, all we are is just a pile of mush and some crumbly dry mess...
Toph? Avatar/MLP Crossover?

Scene from Death Star II with Luke and Emperor. Those lines fit perfectly into this episode.
They are like the others. Strange, hideous, resisting, fighting. Only these were not like the others. They did not die.
I could've sworn that at some point in the episode Discord put his pinky (or the equivalent of it) up near his mouth like
Doctor Evil.
"And there was this sexy-ass nurse, and the guy's just like, 'BOOM SHOCKA-LOCKA-LOCKA BOOM SHOCKA-LOCKA-LOCKA.'"
There is some consolation in that we're likely to stay with episodic slice-of-life comedy for the rest of the season, if the first one is any indication.
I wonder what they'll do with Luna, though. She's supposed to show up in this new season, but if not in the epic adventure episodes, then where/how?

Okay, so the gray is an
actual visible effect that she just outright ignores.
Way to miss the obvious, Twilight.
"Finally... I clearly understand... everything." "I am... Dracula."
The writers can only get better at this as they go along
That's assuming they write this all the time, not just one two-parter every couple months.

@Awe: They didn't turn completely gray until they got to Twilight's house. They were just sort of washed out before then. Maybe the first level wasn't noticeable, and by the time they went totally gray it was too late.
