I said "if he weren't evil", so the explosion probably wouldn't happen
It's a world run under Discord's rules, which means the explosion would probably do something unpredictable instead of killing someone.

And yeah, if Twi could levitate the boulder with her magic from her horn, why did she still carry it on her back?

Anypony have a Gateway to Equestria? I have this nice gravel-grinder with a Discord-shaped space in it.

It's gonna be a chore to recover from being ground into powder, made into a set of mahjong tiles, and then scattered across the multiverse hidden in several sets of said tiles, one piece per set.

Well, that would make sure that he won't be bothering Equestria for quite a bit. It always irks me that Sealed Evil is rarely properly dispersed or disposed off of. If you're gonna can the Evil, at least seal said can in such a way that it'd be as difficult to break free of as possible.

Discord turned into a flanderized, highly predictable idiot villain in the last half. Arguably the whole episode. "Chaos, chaos, chao~os!"

I think it's official. Epic adventure plot really sucks in this show.
