|Actually, a stealthy earth pony would be pretty sweet. And it's not like they haven't got any reason to be; they're portrayed as the most physical in every respect, which means they should be fairly decent at sneaking. Plus they have the potential to blend into any of the other races with some creative prosthetics. Not to mention their connection to the earth could have some serious advantages. Undermining, anybody?

An Earth Pony's strength has always lay in their versatility. Having no natural aptitude for any one from just means that Earth Ponies would need to be creative tacticians in war time, and that makes them easily the most dangerous.

I'm refering to the fact that after she appeared, we INSTANTLY filled an entire page or more almost purely with the word "Luna"

Also, there were enough people liveposting that practically anything surprising enough would cause that.

I'm tellin' ya, I just work here. The main branch of the Adoption Agency is in Dream Castle City. About a day's flight to the west is this huge canyon filled with mist. Cross it and Humania is on the other side.

Well fluttershy would quit right off almost, yeah RD would stick with it, her biggest complaint was she didn't get to have some on screen awesome battle where she single hoofedly drove back an entire Zebra army. Twi would be overanlyizing all the stuff that just doens't work or is insconsitatn with what they know of magic, I.E. most of the game mechanics stuff.

Oh, would be worth writing/reading just for RD's taunting of AJ over Steelhooves.

I don't think you've read it, but CEQ actually has an earth pony who specializes in stealth and infiltration. Granted, she has special powers to do it, but it still works.

Zecora already does fancy things with plants. I could definitely see the earth ponies utilizing them.

As for Earth Ponies using magical plants... how about potions, too? Earth Pony Grenadiers!

In the sequal for TCYB I planned on introducing an earth pony 'mage' who used a combination of magical plant seeds that he hypergrew and some potions to fight. I've always kind of liked the image of someone just fighting by whipping around chemicals - blame the Monster Blood Tattoo series for that, I guess.

Well, I'm unfamiliar with the 'proper' terms, I'm just trying to give a scale there. But Luna spoke roughly in line with Shakspeare(her language was technically a bit all over the place choronoligically, which does make sense all considered), though he was slightly more modern. I don't think he used most of the antiquated verbs and pronouns, just the same sort of structure.

Haven't we gone through this enough before? Shakespeare = Early Modern English, Chaucer = Middle English.
