@Ginger I personally don't see the difference. In our universe, there are four fundamental forces that are responsible for everything. In their universe, there are five, with Magic being the fifth. Science is studying the way the universe functions, therefore in any universe that functions under Magic A is Magic A, magical studies fall under the purview of science in general. Hence why Twilight is portrayed as a scientist in this setting, rather than a wizard.

We have boxes with pictures that move around and that change by poking at said box in certain ways. We have carriages that can move without the assistance of ~~slaves~~ animals. We have sticks that breathe fire and metal.

If science and technology isn't magic, it's pretty damn close.

The methodology is exactly the same, though. Technology has nothing do with how science works. And all I'm doing is having a friendly discussion of Equestrian scientific principles. You aren't thinking that I'm attacking you personally again, are you? Because I'm not. No one ever is.
