Gully Foyle is my name,
and Terra is my nation.
Deep space is my dwelling place,
and death's my destination.

Ive heard some of the Villains in the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle Sherlock Holmes stuff are pretty brilliant. I was never much into mysteries to read them though
How about the villian in
The Murder Of Roger Ackeroid?

Come back Fluttershy, no person here would EVER try to do anything with you you were not 100% comfortable with.

My random thoughts
@mars I promise that I
might go crazy
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel

You guy's will promise me that your not gonna go all crazy on me if I ask this question, right?
This thread is already at maximum craziness.

Personally, I'm a fan of Dashiell Hammett's mysteries. The Dain Curse is an excellent story.
If Sherlock Holmes is too smart Ginger, give the Sam Spade stories a try.

@Drenius Mostly, it's because I've read stuff like
Case Closed and it pissed me off
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
@con I don't want to read a story about him being smart

Well, I don't blame you then Ginger.

Case Closed is schlock.
I'm also sorry I snapped at you. You're right, I was being mean, not to mention petty.

Random book a friend sent and I thought looked terrible but was quirkily amazing - Shades of Grey by Jasper Fforde
At first I was worried that you said
Fifty Shades Of Gray.

How about
Feet Ofclay, a mystery where at one point they make fun of Sherlocks' methods?
