It just seemed so impersonal, you weren't fighting DW you were fighting random tentacle that had nameplate SAYING they were part of Deathwing, and the reptition, 4 identical platforms, only a very very slight change in strat between them, and if you slip up near the end..do it ALL OVER!, to much repetition.

really I know they wrote themselves into this corner from the start by making the boss be so huge, there was just no beleivable way for a player scale character to fight something the size of DW.

@ Marston: I get the feeling there's some reference I'm missing there, but the picture is cute and funny. And it gives Bonbon some personality which is a refreshing change from it always being Lyra.

Fallen: Actually, IIRC, Tartarus had 3 attacks. A basic frontward hammer swing, a sort of hammer "backhand" if you got up against hit back for too long for whatever reason (in my case, stabbing him to death with a sword) and some sort of energy burst that knocks your shield out (laughably useless on Legendary).

Pannic: Those fetch quests happen to involve getting a sword that's supposed to be a symbol of power for the fallen kingdom. You know, something that the last surviving heir might be able to use to rally something together. Not to mention that sword has some of its own political intrigue going on ( even if it's a kind of weird, otherworldly politics).

Oh and Chad, have you read World of Ponycraft ? it's amazing...and sadly, it does a better job exploring the history and lore of Uldum, then World of Warcraft itself bothered with...but it's reat read too, I really want to do the dungeons they were in, it seemed so epic.

Unfortunately, my view of the sun is blocked by cloud cover.

@Apple: What can I say? Lyra and Bonbon happen to be two of my favorite background pony's, and one of my favorite pairings as well.

wow. it relly is a great read, it's hilarious just how WTF it can get trying to blend game play and MLP story together.

plus the backstory parts are epic...I really do want to see a pony expansion for World of Warcraft now.

Fallen: Hehe, yea, gotta be careful to keep clear of him. Which isn't all that hard. The only really annoying thing for me was Johnson missing any of his shots, which Tartarus' jumping around made him prone to. Having to rely on Johnson made the fight kind of tedious at times, especially when I was trying to sword Tartarus to death.

And yea, I'm kind of a fan, although more of a lazy fan. I don't own a 360, so I've only got up to Halo 2 and I've only played the 3rd thanks to a couple friends who wanted to multi the campaign one night.

I find the one of them sitting to be quite odd.

On the subject of Lyra & Bon Bon and The Legend of Zelda...

Other gaming thing on my mind - they're coming out with a new God of War game.

I don't really like those games. Well, sure, they're great games, but Kratos has got to be my most hated video game protagonist ever.
