I'd argue that Silver Spoon has ALWAYS been the nicer of the two. In Call Of The Cutie she seemed to display genuine concern for her friend and tried to cheer her up when she was miserable

I don't think that's in question.

Tiggers mentioned pages ago that Silver Spoon only started showing signs of benevolence in season 2.

Diamond Tiara became a huge bitch out of a combination of lack of empathy due to little interaction with other children; over idolization of her father and his rather cutthroat business practices; being spoiled rotten by said father; and unseen emotional abuse and neglect by her mother.

Silver Spoon, on the other hoof, is mostly Spoiled Sweet and only acts mean because Diamond Tiara was rubbing off on her and wants to impress her. Her true self was slowly started to reveal when she was the first one who applauded Granny Smith's presentation and became more apparent as she hung out less and less with Diamond Tiara.

Silver Spoon should become a friend of the CMC and hang out with them in more episodes

I hope they develop Silver Spoon more. I don't want her to fade into (relative) obscurity like Twitht.

At least Twist gets the occasional Funny Background Event.

You have to be careful what you wish for, though. Developing side characters is great and all, but remember how much people have been complaining about certain members of the mane cast not getting enough development? I'm fine with it, but I'm me.

I thought it was strange that DT didn't bring SS in to help her in Ponyville Confidential.

I still want an entire episode dedicated to Twist (partly because it'd be awesome, and partly because I'd want to see how many threadgoers here would peel the skin off their eyelids as a result of it XD)

It was because she had outlived her usefulness.
