I don't really watch a lot of sci fi. I do occasionally like watching tumbleweeds go by.

Sigh.

I should like to see more of Silver Spoon next season, see if she has gotten out from under DT's shadow.

We know Silver Spoon can be nice when she wants to. There should be a whole episode about her realizing she doesn't have to be a mean girl just to be popular.

Has that ever worked in real life? I'm not sure.

I thought it was more that she liked Diamond Tiara rather than wanted to be popular.

We don't even know her motivations in the slightest, so maybe?

Sci-Fi Races: I've only seen the first 13 episodes of the Doctor Who reboot, but I really like the Slytheen and how the members of the race we've met have a more unique villainous plot than Take Over the World. The fart jokes and headache-inducing flashes during transformation are less appealing, but a small price to pay for good villains.

The Wallops are pretty generic Proud Warrior Race Guys, but I love them all the same.

In all respects, the Transformers should bug me, given they're meant To Sell Toys and a technologically superior, gigantic, more powerful race compared to us Puny Earthlings. Rule Of Cool and Rule of Fun probably help mitigate that for me, but the fact that they're planet is engulfed in a civil war and they suffer heavy casualties no matter the series probably also make them sympathetic in my eyes. Also, Depending on the Writer, you get some seriously lovable characters.

Like Chadaman, I can't think of any I hate at the moment. I don't watch/play too too much Sci-Fi.

Edit: Almost forgot, add the zerg to that list of favorites.

What are Midchildians and Chrysalids?

Chrysalids? Ok, how long before someone makes a Chrysalis joke?

They are the folk who run the Time-Space Administration Bureau in Nanoha, technically human but from other worlds.

Chrysalids, on the other hand, look up "C-Day" in X-Com Let's Plays and find out. Or just run a Snakeman Terror Mission.
