I feel like these discussions of Discord's plans and whether he's a good villain or not probably can't have any real answers until we see part two. We think we know a lot about him, but there hasn't been much confirmation.

I've been holding off on forming opinions about Discord for that reason too. I mean, you might think Nightmare Moon was pretty cool and competent if you only saw episode 1!

(I'm kind of fond of the idea that they should turn all of Discord's pranks against him, if only because I'd like Rarity to shout "Care for a diamond?" as she lobs a giant fake diamond onto him.)

Return of Harmony: Part 2 is going to somehow involve an evil brew.

And what could go into the evil brew? We got popcorn, giant apples, chocolate rainmilk, cola, cotton candy/bubble gum

^Yes. I want to see Rarity lob a giant rock at someone. Anyone. It doesn't even have to be Discord. (Though, as of right now, it'd be Twilight doing the lobbing.)

I don't know how much damage a rock to the head would realistically do to Discord.

We still don't know how much physical power he has yet either (although he does seem to have some impressive Super Speed at the very least, or is that just Offscreen Teleportation?)

I bet she'll lob the rock at him after coming back from his mind control. (I can imagine her linking it into her element of generosity as well. "Please, you can have this back. It is yours after all")

I think he's just slinky and very fast, not capable of teleportation - though there are several times when he moves between two parts of the maze very fast. That could be teleportation.

If it is just superspeed, he moves fast enough that it may as well be teleportation. You can't even see him move one of the times.

I know he's definitely capable of teleportation, I'm just wondering if he has Super Speed as well.

Look at him after RD says: "the first rule?" He whizzes in extremely fast, before anypony even noticed that he'd moved

I think he can manifes and become intangible at will. Otherwise how do you explain his farvoicing and his stainglasssshuffling?

Of course, rate of increase is more important than absolute values. I think at least 70 pages have come out since Season 2 start.

Y'know everyone thinks that the vision Discord showed AJ was actually a glimpse of the future.

What if it's actually showing the mane cast WILLINGLY disbanding in order to trick Discord at some point in episode 2? Their colours are all as they usually are (I know the muted colours are just for the audience but still), so maybe they'll all revert back to normal... then instantly break up anyway. I don't know about you but if I were Discord, that one would throw me for a loop.

I don't think the muted colors can be taken as evidence since it would have just confused young viewers if they showed up early.

Most time Western Animation is on top of Media (because MLPFIM is on top).
