...Somehow I can picture Star Swirl trying to make an artificial horn she could wear to get the benefits of Unicorn racial magic. Thing is I doubt Pony racial magic works that way.

Well, Ace of Scarabs, I did try that once, but it didn't really work. After the explosin, I was told that I needed therapy.

What if having changeling cells injected turns one into a pony-changeling hybrid? Maybe they could change their hair at will, or something.
