MLP ponies have some repitile physiology.

See this is what happens when we start talking about creepy things.

I was thinking about the G1 series and I realized something that might be a callback or at least an interesting similarity between the the "Escape from Catrina" movie and the G4 series. Near the beginning of "Escape from Catrina, " Megan sings a "lullaby" to the baby ponies that's basically saying "let's stay up and NOT go to sleep" which of course gets the baby ponies tired and sleepy anyway. Fast forward to the G4 series, and here we have Sweetie Belle singing a noisy song with lyrics like "Hush now, quiet now, it's time to go to bed" that definitely has some Lyrical Dissonance going on with the way she sings it so loudly. So in G1 we have a song that says "don't go to sleep" that puts ponies to sleep and in G4 we have a song that says "go to sleep" that wakes everyone up!

Yeah, I think quite a few people have expressed that the whole Care Bears thing just comes off as forced. MLP's success wasn't premeditated. It just happened.

And that whole PPPP thing... WHAT THE DEUCE?

I think its symbolic. Fi M was at first shown up as just another kid girls' show with no real intention of it becoming the internationally acclaimed show that is now with said success coming in COMPLETELY out of no where. The new Care Bears show, however, is being forced into others faces, thus the executives are ALREADY dooming it to failure right out the gate.

By the way, has there ever been a case in Ace Attorney where someone other than the defendent was framed? The closest I can think of is Ema Sky in Rise From The Ashes.

I find it funny how we refer to the PVE phase as "Care Bear Land." And now this.

@ Ud, no there not, no "executive" is trying to hype this or say it's gonna be the next FIM and all the bronies will love it. That was just one guy who posted the 'hey bronies you'll love this show" blog, Hasbro immediatly peck salpped him andput our an official press release that his views were NOT official policy.

really anytime any exec/PR rep/creator..anyone, tries to say it will be the next FIM, just ask them, why do brnies love FIM, if they can't answer that, or give some stupid, captain obvious answer that doesn't really give the real reasons. Then how can they say we'll like show X?

But in the end, let's how well the remake of Care Bears will go?

Cause PVP is pretty freaking dangerous.

Well, in G1 MLP, it sorta did make sense to have a human. As it was explicitly said there was a human kingdom (or more)... Though, I can see where you are coming from.

I still keep thinking that the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon also took place somewhere (very far away) in G1-verse.

Well, differing preferences and whatnot. I have to see some pictures of the CGI to "get" the horror. Then again, my squick-tolerance is rather high.

I actually vaguely remember watching the original Care Bears. As for the new one; I'm not about to proclaim that it's a terrible failure, but I will say that the animation is kinda freaky.
