I wonder why everyone besides Pinkie was stressing about Celestia considering how good-natured she is. Maybe they just hear rumors to the contrary, they just respect her so much that they'd be mortified if there was anything she disapproved of, or there's some sort of social stigma associated with communities that aren't able to cater to their ruler as effectively.
Maybe they just get intimidated by the guards. Anyone else think Twilight probably ranks pretty high if she's able to physically push them away without them responding?
That mayor probably had some wicked sack to call Celestia for an audience and have her cut the party short.
Also, did that "brunch" start at
four? What?

Ruining everything forever.
I just kind of noticed that there's always a distinct tune whenever we're at Fluttershy's house.
What I found hilarious is how Twilight practically channeled the internet fandom with her talk of Celestia banishing people and throwing them into dungeons. But I think in the end it was just so they could kind of Joss the Tyrant Celestia theories (if you can even Joss joke
WM Gs, but whatever).
I feel I didn't enjoy the episode as much as I should have probably due to the crappy upload that I was subjected to.
A child may be raised to think that light is darkness, but the light still enlightens.
Gelzo - I thought so too. I was very impressed with how Twilight was able to dissuade the guards simply by saying "Hey, it's all right, she's on the list."

Goddammit, right after I just watched it in shit quality.

I can understand their nervousness; when an immortal
Physical God who regulates your world comes to tea, you kind of want to keep her happy.

Panhandling sign glued to hands. Need $5 for solvent.
I liked it when Celestia tricked Mr. and Mrs. Cake into over filling her tea cup. Her "Troll" face is just so enchanting. Now if only other trolls could be like that.
Also, quite by accident, I found out that th e"Benny Hill" music runs at almost a perfect 125 bpm. Remix Time!

Yeah, I have a distinct feeling she was thinking "It's a party. Lighten
up, everyone." the whole time. I also liked how elegant she was the whole time. If telekinesis could daintily hold out a pinky finger, that's basically what she was like.
Also: I know that, in real life, she's not showing up until later, but it seemed odd to me that Celestia wouldn't bring Luna to that brunch. I wonder if Luna's just nocturnal, because of her job.
I have a message from another time...
Does Equestria have time zones? Because it's possible she's taking part in an informal cocktail dinner in another part of the land.

Oh yeah! The start! I thought it was funny how Angel was telling Fluttershy that
she was late.
