Maybe I'm crazy, but I just love Snail's expression as he watches the crusaders.

Snails does not approve of their shenanigans. He is also totally pimping with Twist.

I hated Snips & Snails when I first saw them, but honestly I think Snails is growing on me.

Just because they identify Discord by species doesn't necessarily mean that they actually realize he exists. They could make statuesque depictions of beings they believe to be mythological. I mean, it would be like an alien watching us and assuming that because we made a statue of Rainbow Dash and identified it as a pegasus, that we actually believe they exist for real.

They simply might not realize that Discord is a real being and not just a story somepony made up.

I don't know. If I were Celestia, and I was keeping a god-like being that can be freed via the simple act of arguing as a fucking lawn ornament, then the least I'd do is make people very, very aware that the thing is real, and that you SHOULDN'T ARGUE IN FRONT OF IT!!

So, in the higher res video..

The other statues are a pony that vaguely looks like Octavia with some scrolls, a pony with a music note that appears to be singing/drinking/blowing a horn (hard to tell, a Cupid-esque pegasus, and what appears to be a pony with a spear & cape.

They probably have no importance, I felt it was worth overanalyzing what we have.

How many eps did Berry appear in? Why is she even considered an alcoholic?

The one time I saw her she just drunk straight from a punch bowl. Messy, and unhygenic? Maybe. but not alcoholic

And so I actually contribute something to the conversation, Berry did show up in an episode forcing a unicorn filly to get inside when Zecora was coming to town. According to the wiki she's sometimes known as "over protective parent pony" as a result of that.

Her cutie mark, grapes and strawberry, seems to lend itself to the alcoholic persona. The animator that did that scene says she specifically picked Berry for that gag because of the cutie mark and thought "She's the drinker!"

She was also suppose to burp in that scene as well, apparently.

Regarding Berry Punch and the punch drinking scene, here is a relevant quote from Sibsy.

So yeah, about as close to canon as a drunken pony is going to get.
