Well, they're not really twins, just in that there's two of them; Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.
Celestia's birthday is the first sunday of May and Luna's is the first monday.
Sun and moon, see?
Yo ho ho and a bottle of fizzy-pop! (Mum won't let me have rum)
Well I was reading a bit this afternoon but then I stopped. I guess I should start again. Anyway, one thing that jumped out at me was the picture of two alicorns, one much shorter than the other. It was obviously written before Luna Eclipsed, but it becomes Fridge Brilliance again now that we have Cadence.

Well, after nearly a week and a half of frustration and ruined wood, I now have the bottom bought for my first violin ready to glue. Tomorrow, the top bought! After I spend the next week making more ribs to replace the ones I ruined.
@Seraphem there is another PMV This Is halloween that does not use any Luna eclipsed shots. It's even completely originally animated too! It has absolutely nothing to do with cupcakes
Its true Luna seems to be getting bigger and bigger each time we see her. I wonder if there'll ever be Mega-Luna. Imagine the ROYAL CANTERLOT VOICE on that one.
@CDRW That's cool how long until you'll be finished. Also I wouldn't worry about ruining wood its what learning is all about. Although if you have to pay for each bit of wood you use then that'll get expensive.

It's hard to get a sense of scale in Luna Eclipsed because Luna is still far larger than the average pony, and there are a lot of camera angles in that episode designed to make her look intimidating. The biggest tell though is if you watch Luna when she dispels her illusion that made her look like Nightmare Moon. She gets noticeably smaller, and Nightmare Moon was the same size as Celestia. She is still just as small in the finale, though, so I think she's fully recovered, but is still simply younger than Celestia. It is also possible that she didn't age at all while sealed in the moon, due to lacking a physical body/being in stasis/whatever.
