@ latenight: I've still got a long ways to go. Carving the front and back, carving the bass-bar, adding the purfling (the little black and white strips around the edges), carving the f-holes, making the scroll, pegbox, and neck, and making the fingerboard. I'm told that each step gets progressively harder than the last one. Fortunately, the cost of wood is covered by my tuition so I don't have to worry too much if I screw up. The only problem with screwing up too much is that it puts me behind schedule which could turn my three-year program into a four-year one and make finances really tight.

...at least you're not doing a cello...

Yah, looking at picture comparison, Luna's withers come up to about eye height on regular ponies. She is that size in Luna Eclipsed and Royal Wedding Pt 2.

She is noticeably smaller than Celestia in Night Mare Moon Pt 2. though, her eye level is at Celestia's Withers. In Royal Wedding Pt 2. her eye level is more at Luna's chin, so she appears to have gotten bigger than she was in S1 at least.

Word Of God says that Luna's the same size in "Friendship is Magic, part 2" and "Luna Eclipsed".

They could have drawn it better then.. Maybe in her character rework they drew her slightly different that gave the illusion of greater height... like maybe because of her hair changing ...

If you look at her in this pic◊ Vs. This Pic◊ She looks quite a bit taller, and they look like they are standing on the same plane, not set back from each other or anything.

What would happen if Octavia got in an accident that prevented her from playing the cello again...

@crowlover I'm sure there are hundreds of fics out there that have already answered that question in excruciating detail.

I think she'd take up composing or conducting. There's no way in hell Octavia would let anything stop her from making music.

She doesnt look like she's set back that much though. I wish I had a screenshot of her next to other ponies because then I could compare her size wise more easily. Just have pics of her with some foals... one who is the same size as scootaloo and flying.

Scootaloo's Timber wolf parents need to start throwing her off cliffs til she manages to fly or something...
