Curious, are the TV Tropes forums generally more civil than other places and is that a general trend of other forums?

Well we're more civil than say, Ponibooru.
If there is anything that you are alone in thinking, it's "thinking that you're alone in thinking of your theories".
As long as you stay the hell away from Ponibooru and efchan you're fine. Stay away from 9gag too.

@ Kegi that's becuase you have unreasonalby high expectaions for every single person that identifies them self as a fan to hold to, and tend to see the bad more then the good. (yeah we've had this discussion before) Yeah there's going to be a few jackasses no matter WHERE you go, but on the whole the MLP fandom has a very very small minority of them, and the rest are so loving, accepting, and familial it's amazing.

I'll admit i don't really go out to other sites other then EQD, but internet comments are the worst place to judge anyting on, but even then there have been SO many great ones from bronies. I'm just looking at all the love and dedication so many talented bronies put into the community and the show. Not to mention that infamous article the other night with the absolutely heartwarming and faith affirming comments section.
