He seems even stronger than Nightmare Moon.

So according to a bunch of comments, he's voiced by the guy who played Q. Why you so amazing, show?

So he can alter a pony's species!? That's wow.... And I liked the look on Twilight's face when he said "No magic."

He was getting really... close to some of the ponies wasn't he? (specifically Twilight)

That would explain why they're after him in the first place. And why he's such a strong force of Chaos.

Seems like a rather fun villain. I think I'll like him more than any of the other antagonists on the show.

So far he seems to be the time who sees Chaos as a form of equality. If everyone is given the same amount of power and ability the only factor is luck.

His Evil Laugh needs some work though. That entrance wasn't nearly epic enough

Well, that can be forgiven. It's not like he's a bass or anything.

he's got that kind of "everywhere" feeling about him. He's speeding/teleporting around so fast the mane cast can't quite react to him. He also seems to like getting in your face.

I wonder if he ever dips into actually acting sinister, or if he's a total goofball throughout.

And hay, maybe this will give Applejack an opportunity to not constantly get shown up by the other ponies.

I actually think he is kinda sinister, just not in the usual way. He'll probably lose it near the end though

I feel the same way, because there's something truly disturbing about a being who changes the very reality of nature and treats it like a game.

I'm finding Discord rather difficult to take seriously, given his attitude. If it wasn't for that display of power in instantly removing the horns and wings, I'd be less inclined to think of him as a villain and more of some prankster jerk who just comes around to troll everypony every so often.

The picture of the day also made me laugh. I think Twilight's spell didn't quite work out again, what with looks like a whole lot of popcorn hanging around in the field now.

At least it's a step up from someone who bends reality and treats it like nothing happened.

Now I wonder if he's evil at all. He seems like he was just dicking around - Celestia probably locked him away just because he was such a problem. I reeeeeealy want to make some sort of reference to Anansi here, but I'm not sure how...

Ooh! I've got it. Equestria has a pantheistic religion, but there was infighting amongst the gods, and Celestia and Luna came out on top. Discord was the trickster god, ala Coyote and Anansi. Other gods either live in other kingdoms, or are sealed away in other places.

Anyways, Loving Discord so far. He looks one part manic, and one part slimy - my absolute favourite kind of villain.
