YMMV zerky thought Discord was kind of a chimera. He's got the goat head, what looks like a lion's paw, a serpenty tail... not exactly one, but he's got most of the right parts... in some places!

The clip is awesome. Discord is awesome.

What worries me is the prospect that this plot will only widen the disparity between earth ponies and the other pony races.

First of all, Discord's look is awesome, and the guy who draw a Discord deduced from the pre-screenshots hit pretty close. I always hoped for something like this rather than a dark pony.

His attitude is maybe a bit -too- goofy for my taste, but I can't stop myself laughing on all the adult fans, wrapped up in their dark fanfics, getting a humorous character. Reminds me that you watch kids' shows because you want to feel positive.

Just one thing, if Discord is related to Nightmare Moon...How does that work out? lol. Their themes are completely different.

If AJ could make him buy that, and get turned into some sort of alicorn to even things out it'd be the greatest thing ever. Especially if he had no idea how to handle magic and flying.

As it is, I'm expecting that there'll be other parts of the challenge where they all gain wings or horns, maybe.
