I was irritated by Pinkie in ALL her focus episodes. She's fine as long as the episode isn't about her, but as soon as she has focus, damn she gets annoying fast.

^How was she selfish and hypocritical in "Party of One"? That episode really just made me feel sad for Pinkie. Like, I don't hate or fear Pinkamina; I just want to give her a hug.

She's been selfish before, definitely, but wanting all of her friends not to ignore her wasn't that bad, I thought.

I think we psychoanalyze Pinkie too much. And be we I mean you guys, because I'm pretty sure I don't even know how to psychoanalyze anybody and if I did I sure wouldn't do it to Pinkie.

She's a cartoon character and sometimes she's the hero and the plot kinda bends around that.

It was more the "I don't want my friends to keep a secret from me attitude" that she had, which blatantly contradicted the way she acted in "Green Isn't Your Colour"

Do what you preach Pinkie.

btw. Pinkie was at her best in Party of One I thought, so really, these are just little niggles I have at the back of my mind

Relaying some apparent news from Ponychan

and that Sibsy (storyboard artist) says there might be a break between the Discord episodes and the rest of Season 2.

Just in case anybody missed it, I bring some bittersweet news from Sibsy (Storyboard artist) that she revealed during lastnight's awesome Bronyville live show:

"...you guys are doing all your countdowns to season two and I know they're (The Hub) playing the first...the Discord stuff, but I believe that there's going to be a slight break after that and then the rest of season two will start airing in October. Because, it's still being animated guys!"

That makes sense. This whole announcement that Season 2 would air in September was a lot sooner than people were expecting. Its OK though, gives us more time to dissect the Discord episodes and write a fanfic or ten before we go on!

Well technically her "construction" thing was accurate...but only if the others were actually setting up the party behind her while making the sounds.

Parasprites ruined Pinkie's family's original (vegetable) farm, leaving them with rocks.

I return to my Rule of Funny explanation. Pinkie lives by it, and because the idea of using a one-pony-band to defeat the parasprites was funny, she knew about it.

Nothing too big, I'd imagine. They'd still be minor background ponies.
