Ease bugs me. It always has. Even if the ease is justified I don't like seeing it. It's just not the sort of thing I like.

Yeah, one of the cool things about this show is that it does show skill development and progression among the characters concurrent with their character development, despite the fact that the improvement of their skills is not central to conflict resolution in this genre. Most other slice-of-life shows are content to have character skills be static forever.

I've been trying to grind my party's links a bit recently, after realizing I was focusing too much on the clubs. My strength social link is at 7, and has been for a while now.

One thing I'm still not sure how much I like about this game is the whole metagame planning element. I mean, I'd make the plans on my own naturally, but I'm not sure how I feel about being forced into it.

and again I get what your saying Ginger, but this is the wrong genre for that, it's like being pissed that the main characters in some heavy dramatic piece isn't cracking jokes and doing pratfalls to break up the tension, Or that a Sci-Fi movie has everything being done through technology instead of magic.

It's not a bad thing, and in some genres it's more often then not the right thing, but this isn't one of those, it is just completely antithetical to the entire core stucture of the show at a core level.

@Kegisak: the deadline is in November I believe, I don't remember the exact date. You do get a few free days in December where you can maybe finish off a link, but not many. From the ranks you mentioned you still have time, I just suggest you prioritize your party members above all other links.
