   The changelings are the biggest wham creatures for this show. It's not like we got a one shot villain. We got a whole society. I would love to see more of them.

@ Seraphem: I remember that. My comparison was more like:

The changelings are like the little bug creatures because they consider the Queen to be the best/most important part of their hive while the "drones" are expendable. I believe they're not completely expendable like in the Ender world, but if the Queen died or was defeated, the other changelings would be unable to really function.

And yes, the Changeling morality discussion always just goes in circles, and I'm pretty sure that Chad is the only real advocate of Always Chaotic Evil here anyway.

I've been thinking about the changelings like they're bees. The drones die quickly and everything, and they all serve the queen.

I'd actually prefer to drop this topic, anyway. People seem to get angry over it.

@ Ilse, NOTHING alike, the sequels yeah completely different. not even Ender is the same. The author wrote them with absolutly no thought about Ender being in them or as even being in the same verse, his publisher thought it would be good if he made the main character be Ender instead and make it a sequel

The first one is good, and the concept of a Speaker-For-The-Dead is quite intriguing, the others just get way way way bogged down in philosophical musings on what is life, how free are people, all sorts of stuff and have very little actually happen.

Same for the Shadow Saga, Ender's Shadow was awesome, but after that the books became more about exploring differnt political ideas then anything involoving Bean.

ALSO you know you've spent WAY to long in this thread when your first impulse is to type mane instead of main even for non-pony main characters.

Besides, as a replacement term, "Fan Wink" sounds more like little tidbits placed into episodes by the creators to hint at stuff for fans.
