I don't even hate it... I just know I'm gonna start taking MASSIVE issues with it.

and because no one cares about villains I can't use the trope page to determine whether the villains do anything awesome or not. It just goes on about what the heroes do.

Oh yeah. I'll be honest, I like that series a lot, but I don't know if it's for you. There are clever villains, but they spend most of their time in the background plotting. We're down to the last book and I still don't know what they're up to, so I can't really tell if you'd like them, and even if you would that's a lot of books to get through. Most of the villains spend as much time screwing each other over as they do the heroes.
