I honestly found Cupcakes so over-the-top it was funny, especially the typo that had Pinkie after Dash's "bowl". I wouldn't want to read that many more because it would get boring like Happy Tree Friends, but it was funny on its own.

K'know your right, at the harvesting scene it became funny (in an over the top kind of way). but that whole wing removal scene, especially the long strip of skin that got ripped off her back. I'm sorry, that made me cringe a lot

Same here. More dramatic or realistic treatments of the setting are fine, but nastiness for it's own sake almost feels disrespectful to the source material.

I kind of hope they move it over to YTV, maybe they'll treat it less badly. (The two channels are corporate siblings.

I've actually sent an email to YTV requesting this. I doubt I'll ever get anything more than a cut-and-paste response if I even get one at all.

Given how Treehouse edits stuff out of episodes they don't like and even bans an episode entirely (Why pick up the show in the first place, you imbeciles?) Celestia and Luna knows what they'll do to season two. Assuming they pick it up before most of their watchers aren't old enough to marry, or even at all.
