Yeah, I know. The fact that as a flaw, it's not that big of a deal, (especially in a non-serial show) really speaks to the quality of the episode.
How did they ever lock the trope page of Lolita?

I wonder what SA and Cadence did on Hearts and Hooves day.

Maybe that's when SA proposed. /baselessspeculation
Are you not entertained? Is that not why you are here?

A couple of references to Shining Armour earlier in the season wouldn't have gone a miss. It would have at least let them avoid Remember the New Guy.

The Eleventh Doctor is cool.

I'm kinda looking forward to some fanart done in the style of the Art Shift done while Twi was singing.

Hey Orion, why weren't you in the group photo?

[up] I like how they silhouetted Young!Granny Smith over Old!Granny Smith so you could see both versions.

Yeah this one is the most reasonable I have found so far

That one isn't reasonable at all! They're not going to suddenly bring back every antagonist ever, so half the squares are just wasted.

Ah, that's one of the animators pony's.

I don't see it as a flaw at all, really. Nobody had any problems with Sweetie Belle turning out to be Rarity's sister without so much of a mention of it before hand, and none of the rest of the cast talks about their families at all. It's just not something that you bring up unless directly asked about, and there was nowhere earlier in the season that made sense to do so, unless you want to shoehorn Twilight into Sisterhooves Social or something.

Well let me ask this: Was there any particular point in the previous two seasons where it would have made sense for Twilight to mention she had an older brother?

@story: Oh, and they fit the crazy pony from Read it and Weep! She's my Ensemble Darkpony.

Well he could have been shown in the CMC flashback.

Sweetie Belle was at least in other episodes, and it kinda made sense, with Rarity not having time for her and all. And it's true that Reality Is Unrealistic. In Real Life, you might not know two people are related unless it comes up, or that someone you know has siblings.

The 80s ponies from that episode where Fluttershy became assertive are in that pic. I love their designs.smile

It's funny how I hardly ever consider Derpy or Doctor Whooves to be ensemble darkponies because of all the attention they get. I mean, they're even in the front row of the group photo! I love Doctor Whooves, but crazy pony was hilarious. Does she have a Fan Nickname?

I think that's Daring Do, running away from the boulder. [lol]

[up]Screw Loose seems to be the most common one.

@Lurker: I didn't notice that! That's really clever.

Also, are you talking about the hovering one from the Discord episode? I thought she was Screw Ball. I mean the one that barks, who was locked up in the insane asylum.

I'm sort of gifted/cursed in having a larger reference pool, but you can still see where some of my "original" content is influenced by other stuff.
Lol, where did you find your pools, and what did they curse you with?
And Applejack is here too!

@Bag: It's probably like the pool in Voyage of the Dawn Treader that turns you to gold. Because it's cursed, you see.
