Yeah, given that the whole reason she's confronting Chrysalis is to protect her citizens. Defeating the enemy and killing her subjects in the process would be kind of counterproductive. Although I don't know if Celestia has quite the "can use all the power of the sun" ability. I mean, before her unicorns were able to move the sun and moon, and I'm assuming they didn't have nuke-level powers.

I have a plan for something I want to write as well, but at the moment I don't really have time to put it together. I'm hoping to write it during the summer.

I actually think it's rather wise of them not to let us know the extent of Celstia's powers. It makes it easier to avoid Forgotten Phlebotinum.

I forgive them for handwaving the fact that we've never heard of him before. It was the weakest part of the finale, imo, but that doesn't stop it from being one of my favorite episodes of all time.
