From what I can tell, the voice of Princess Cadance, Britt Mc Killip, was a child actress playing roles you would expect that kind of actress to do. I never would have guessed she was playing "cute" roles a few years ago. Now at 22, she is playing a young woman who is getting married and she is shown to have a great singing voice.

Forgot to mention: shipping is a bit of a teeter-totter for me. I have no problem with it if it's written well, but poorly written, it wrecks my suspension at least ten times fast than just about any other mistake I've seen in fics.

I have little problem with dark (and to an extent, grimdark) and sad (finally worked past that one), but it has to serve to make the story better. Extremes of either without huge effort put into the justification department makes it look like the author is trying to coast his/her way to popularity by leaning heavily on shock value or some other half baked gimmick.

That's a pretty good S3 Bingo card.

I like:

'New Villain' (Practically a given)

'More Pony Parents' (Even a flashback is fine)

'Queen Chrysalis returns' (More becuase I want that so bad)

'Trixie returns' (More powerful than ever, I hope)

'Royal couple is mentioned' (This show loves continuity, so I'm betting they'll even appear)

'Another Luna episode' (Sure, why not.)

'Rainbow Dash tries out for the wonderbolts' (They ought to, by now.)

Mmm... I don't expect any of the "X returns" ones to actually happen, except possibly Smarty Pants. "New Villain" is almost definite, and "Another Luna episode" would be nice, as would "serious lesson".

I'd say that "Return of Discord" is more or less confirmed at this point though.
