Those Lanterns are emotional vampires. They incite as much emotion as they can from someone, kill them, and then devour their hearts for strength.

Now I want a cross over between changelings and Black Lanterns.

Of course the hearts only charge the battery by 0.01% or is it 0.001% ? Something like that.

So apparently with the finale the number of bronies in my old highschool just shot up exponentially. I am not sure how to react to this information.

[up][up][up]One heart yields 0.01% power.

[up]How'd you get the statistics?

[down]Where'd you find that out.

@Purple: I thought the slow pacing augmented with the zombie attacks increased the tension, like in an old Western. The characters were interesting, imo. Daryl's trip to subconscious-hallucination-land really made his character stand out, and he was actually a Jerk with a Heart of Gold.

Rick wan't hard to like, either. He stood by his morals and kept searching for the little girl even though she died. The dilema of the walkers in the barn and the shoot out at the bar were interesting.

Oh, that'd be nice. Though that still means 5 months without pony.

un-confirmed, given that the screenshot everyone is basing that off of says it'll be Season 3 episode 24

It's pretty much an unfounded rumor spawned from what is most likely a listing error on some site. Especially since it doesn't list the air date of the first season 3 episode, but one much later, IIRC.

The Walking Dead bores me a lot. And makes me laugh so much. Some of it is good. Like Glenn and Daryl.

I'm mainly watching it in the hope it gets better.

@con I've got no problem with a slow pace as long as it's used well. TWD did not use its slow pace to its advantage.

Y'know, slow pace was pretty much the final knife in Torchwood: Miracle Day's back, now that I think about it.

@Purple: I think the slow pace was well used. I know a lot of people who dislike westerns for pacing reasons, but I think it's one of the best parts. The buildup is part of the experience. The lull still holds my interest, but the climax takes me off guard.

I feel like I'm watching a zombie western when I'm watching that show. I half expect Clint Eastwood to show up sometimes.

@ginger: Zombies are the scariest villain because they are us, only dumber, and they will never stop. They are not detered by pain or weariness. They are always hungry.
