@con Oh, I wasn't trying to be mean. I was attempting to say it Faciciously... and clearly failed.
Yeah, it was just too soul crushingly depressing for me

@Seraphem I don't know, sometimes I'm convinced that Ginger is a subconscious hipster, disliking everything popular and always chiming in "but I liked ______... -_-" whenever we talk about something we don't like. FO:E and ATLA seem to be exceptions to this.
Hey Applelight! How's tricks?
Depressing fiction can be quite powerful and moving if handled properly, otherwise you simply aren't invested.

Deep space is my dwelling place,

@con I've always been a firm believer in hope. I can handle most any type of ending but downer. There has to be SOME ray of hope

Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.
@ginger: What about the proles? They're the hope. That's the point. Power to the People!
Depressing CAN be done right but I'd prefer not to read that stuff. Plus it is way to easy to just enter the realm of
Darkness-Induced Audience Apathy

@Seraph Yeah, that's my main problem, if I'm going to have to watch the characters I'm supposed care about fail and lose... why should I care about what happens?

Seriously. Watch yourself, guys; the little sprod's about six.
*TAAAAAAAANG!*
@Purple: "That is all" doesn't fly. What problems did you have with it? I thought the story and characterization were solid, and it was intense when it needed to be.
Re: Madness: Crowlover's been cycling through avatars in an attempt to confuse folks. And then there was rthat thing with changelings.
