Actually, I'm kind of hoping they scale down the villains, at least on the cosmic level. So far, the major baddies have been like demideities, world-conquering type guys. I'm hoping season 3 gets a real petty douchebag :V

Well, Chrysalis was, originally at least, weaker than either of the previous villains. It wasn't until she'd drained Shining Armor that she became strong enough to overpower Celestia. Meanwhile, Celestia was powerless against Discord, and was stolen from the face of the earth by Nightmare Moon (although, Celestia's helplessness in that situation is unknown, and probably never will be)

Okay, we've done Celestia and Luna. As said earlier, Cadance is the goddess of love.

Then, as I hypothesised, Cornucopia is the goddess of harvests and Permafrost is the goddess of storms (and tyrany).

Gilda, Trixie, and the Flim Flams weren't really villains, so to speak. They were antagonists, but none of them were really Evil, at least in the context of it.

I agree with you on Trixie and Gilda but Flim and Flam were villains in my opinion. They tried to run the Apples out of business. They're like the evil oil tycoon in kids movies.
