I'm curious to know why Celestia doesn't also have a whole Power of Love/Friendship thing going with her too, however. I mean, she has a Sister back now, and Twilight's practically family.
Spooky.
@crow: But everybody else who helped was female, and she was defeated by another female.
Well, Changelings can't surprise Celestia anymore now. She knows what they are and how they work. She'll come up with some kind of countermeasure for em

Wonderful! Just let me wind up the ol' spell casting arm and bam! A whole new race of shapeshifters. No need to thank me my dear. It's what I do.
What is this a reference to?
If there is anything that you are alone in thinking, it's "thinking that you're alone in thinking of your theories".
Cause the Everfree castle is where she lives? Assuming we're talking about Luna.

I just realized. That song could easily be converted for a male singer. I think I'm going to learn it.
I know, this was in reference to a single image some idiot posted on ponibooru, not the entire episode.
More evidence for my theory that Celestia is pretty detatched from her subjects. She loves them and they love her, but they aren't "close"

@ Storyyeller: Oh, it's just that "Get Back to the Kitchen!" jokes are about the unfunniest things that I can think of. They are unoriginal, offensive, and set back women. They're relatively harmless jokes, and I don't really mind as much if a close friend makes them (although sometimes I'll snap back) but I just hate those sorts of jokes, especially since they are not at all funny.
At least this anti-feminism joke got a laugh out of me (This happened to me btw):
Friend: You wanna hear a joke?
Me: Yeah, what?
Friend: Women's rights

I could write essays on this (Aside: I write too many essays already...) so I'll stop now while I'm not too mad.
The Element of Procrastination
Changed my mind. The lyrics can't be converted for a man. Still going to learn it though.
The Luna situation seems to be our biggest issue with this ep.
I go with whoever said that Luna was out patrolling so that one of the princesses could be aware of what happened to Canterlot and be free to warn people if anything bad happened

@Ginger: But, but does Luna no longer count? :(
Spooky.
@Pan But Luna wasn't there and wasn't aware of the situation, they couldn't connect to make the power of love work

Also why doesn't pinkie pie get her twitches when it's plot relevant!?
She doesn't have any specific twitches for Changeling invasion, so the best she could hope for is a general 'doozy' warning. Also, the twiches normally only appear when the event is imminent. Also also, it's magic, I ain't gotta explain shit.
