Conquest is an Agressive Expansion. War is a Blood Knight. Seems easy to seperate to me.

@Ginger:It's a series of graphic novels called Locke & Key. The villain doesn't really get much screen time in the first volume, but afterwards he very nearly takes over the narrative, interjecting himself into the plot as often as possible. He's very smart and great at manipulating the main cast, simultaneously befriending all of the main characters in order to gain access to all of their information and terrorizing them from the shadows with overt attacks. The way he has it played out, he'll get with what he wants one of two ways: either the group comes to fully trust him and hands it over, or they give in to his attacks and give it up out of fear. Early on in the story, several characters catch on to him, and he neutralizes each of them efficiently and quickly.

In the 4th volume (which I think is the one latest available one) he is finally figured out, and all of the protagonists team up to try and take him down. He's put into a nearly unwinnable situation...but by the end of the book he's manipulated it so that he's actually BETTER OFF than he was in the beginning.

I think you might even like the protagonists, since none of them are particularly cool or awesome, just ordinary kids in trouble way over their heads.

Fair warning: the series is ongoing, so it's possible it could turn into something you despise further down the line.

There's been a lot of coverage about this finale, hasn't there? I'm surprised it's considered such a big deal. The season 1 finale was just another episode, wasn't it?

I'm still avoiding spoilers on the subject, so I have no idea what they've been saying about it.

I just got back from the pizza place. My aunt ordered A Glass of Chianti and I went ftfftftftft and the waitress gave me such a weird look.
