I think Conquest's power should be very controlling of the enemy, such as mind control or possession. It could also be some sort of buff that gives a large power boost so you can dominate the enemy. Or you could make it something such as the theft of enemy goods/stats/materials etc. It's very flexible.

Well, it ain't for a game, I can't think purely in stats.

Basically, in the idea I have you can either be touched by light, or touched by darkness. Touched by light basially gives you either Water, Fire, Air, or Earth bending while being touched by darkness gives you a power related to one of the horsemen. Death makes your skin and flesh and bone instantly lethal to the touch, War gives you the ability to summon metal blades and shapes, Famine/Pestilene makes you a walking plague who secretes infectious bugs and makes food rot in his presense, and I'm not sure what conquest would do

Whenever I hear Kefka, I think of Kafka. Also Sephiroth's an idiot. He can punch holes through planets and blow up the sun but he can't even hit the people in front of him?

I prefer Death, War, Famine and Pestilence of Horsemen. It's 20% cooler than original.

Whatever Conquest's power is, should most definitely involve conquest domination, and property theft. Maybe turning one's allies against them? Mind control could work, but I can't think of much else right now.

Or maybe you could just go for the weapon association, like with War, and make Conquest powers based on Archery/ranged weaponry and pimp hats

@Ginger: I'm having a hard time coming up with a good description, so I'll just link this page which gives a pretty good summary of the series overall, followed by the individual entries if you're interested. I don't know if the series would appeal to you, the focus is often on the problems you come across in the various towns, almost in an episodic way, rather than spending a lot of time developing the central conflict. If you feel at all compelled to try it I'd recommend five on the DS or eight on the PS2
