Well, hopefully. I've been contacted by Eidos Montreal; my career adviser suggested me to them and they asked me to send in an application... so we'll see how this goes.
It's just annoying not hearing anything most of the time.
And those pics are looking pretty good, too! I like the posing on them, they look really dynamic.

So I've heard Applelight, and you want "Spitfire: Swimsuit Edition" now?
I know the feel, you'd think they'd at least have the common courtesy of saying "No" rather than NOTHING AT ALL!

@Ginger Well, if you're interested in the card game, you have to find people to play with first, and they can teach you the addiction game. For the story, though, it's a bit harder. There are a lot of books/comics/supplementary materials out there and your best bet is to pick something and just start, as the stories themselves are self contained enough to be understood alone, but tie together in a larger Myth Arc.

I would suggest he start with GX, that's the best of the animes so far.
(We're talking about Yu-Gi-Oh! here right?)
Gay, Autistic, Nerd, Gamer, Gleek, Brony, Writer, Fan, Master Of The Ever Changing Avatar, Mad Man.

@Mousa: Mm. A lot of companies get way too many resumes to even look at most of them, let alone call the person back and reject them... I get that, I'm just the sort of person who likes to know what's happening(I once asked my dentist to give me a play-by-play while she was giving me a filling).
Plus there's the issue of I plan to move to Montreal, so all my applications are out there. But I'm not, so they don't take it as seriously and give favour to applicants who are already out there. At least I tell them that I'm going to be moving, but I don't even have a solid date... Well, I've got a month and a half. My luck is improving lately, maybe something will turn up. Fortune favours the bold, and all that.

I just went with a design that I thought fit her. Being "ridiculously hot" was a side effect.
My favourite thing about job hunting is the job postings for junior positions that go up that require 3-5 years industry experience. I always get a giggle out of them because they seem like a gross violation of common sense.

Ugh. Yeah. Everyone I know has told me to just ignore that bit - it's ideal, but they aren't going to ignore you because you don't have experience for a junior position. Otherwise nobody would ever be able to get a job.

It's what I like to call "The First Job paradox"
I want a job so I can get experience, but they'll only hire people who HAVE experience in the first place. So how the hell do I get my first job?

@Ginger, I know what you want and you can get your stupid sexy flexy Blossomforth elsewhere.

I kinda lucked into my current job, which is working with my dad and his friend in a small company producing iOS apps. I don't want to think about how hard it would be to try and get a programming job without any prior experience to show.
