Uh, but ginger, you can start skipping stuff the moment you get bored. You aren't required to consume every bit of a show if you aren't into it. The world doesn't end if you skip to the good bits.

How about this Ginger? You're allowed to skip season 1 but you have to watch the rest. Is that a good minset for you?

Anyway, my point regarding Yoe is that she has no effect on the story after Siege of the North. Someone who started watching in season 2 and didn't know about Yue wouldn't miss anything important.

Skipping stuff puts me in the mmindset that I can skip ANYTHING, including stuff I would otherwise find highly enjoyable. It's why I can't allow mysefl to miss a single ep of this show

Mega Man: The reason I recommend this one, as you all may or may not know, is because I love the franchise. More so than Castlevania or Metroid, even! Anyways, yes, it's repetitive sometimes, but it starts to grow on you, I guess. Or maybe it's because I'm insane. I dunno lol. MOVING OOONNNNN
Castlevania: Self explanatory. Ginger's played 4, but he needs to play the first 3. Or at least the first one and then 3. Maybe 2 if you want an (admittedly unfair) challenge, but you MUST play 1 and 3. I DEMAND IT, GINGER
Contra: Because you're blowing shit up with your bottomless guns! What more fun could you ask for? It's pretty damn hard, sure, but I guess you could say it's hard but fun! Oh... damn... that was awful xD

@ginger If you're in it for the plot, you can probably skip Season 1. Mostly introduction, and anything relevant gets flashbacked to later. If you're watching it for entertainment, try watching all of it, but skip something you won't like.

Have you ever considered getting drunk before you watch stuff you're unsure of? It might help you take your media selection less seriously.

Heck, just make a drinking game out of it. Every time something pisses you off, take a shot.

Why the hell would anyone skip? Skipping is the ultimate insult. It's even worse than not watching. Because you're not watching deliberately. It's malicious not watching.
