Okay, so today I worked a little on the singing callback for "My Little Musical." Recorded vocal track, which contains me rapping and singing.

Looks like Discord can be allready considered Esemble Darkhorse. I hope will truly become this after his episode.

Whatever popularity he has now is mostly from speculation and hype because we just got our first tid bit of info on Season 2 and everyone wants to know who/what Discord is. We don't know if he's a pony, a dragon, a griffon, or some magical force of nature.

My personal favorite idea is that he's a former unicorn student of Celestia, perhaps the first of her "most faithful students", who became jaded with the idea of "friendship" and "harmony" and fell to the pony equivalent of the Dark Side.

I may or may not want to see a lightsaber duel done with unicorn horns.

Either way, we won't know for sure until more info is revealed by Word Of God, trailer, or the episode airs. In the meantime, Wild Mass Guessing is fun!

hmm, I´m curious: why does Ask Pinkamena seem to be being accepted by the fandom, when cupcakes was almopst universally loathed by us? Is it any good?

Well, Ask Pinkamena isn't nearly as explicit as Cupcakes, and this version of the character is a tad more interesting than "Pinkie, but now she's killing ponies."

There's also the fact that it makes good avatar fodder.
