So, are all of are characters male so far?
I think there was some talk of
E Ps having green thumb based skills.
@crowlover: I'm considering playing a male, but only because crossplaying could be uncomfortable since I don't know you guys that well.

Gully Foyle is my name,
and Terra is my nation.
Deep space is my dwelling place,
and death's my destination.
@Seraphem They would have Animal Empathy available to them, as well as various earth-based powers. No shapeshifting, though, sorry.
Actually, how would a rocket shooting automous helicopter factor into the game?

I think I'll have my charater be a politician from Trottingham who got involved in a massive scandal and ended up with a price on his head. He used the last of his campaign money to hire a bodyguard and had a unicorn surgically alter his face (then had the doctor who performed the operation killed)
He know explores the lands, trying to find some way to become strong enough to have his revenge

"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
I really should go and get maybe an hour or two of sleep.
Be polite. Be efficient. Have a plan to befriend everyone you meet.
At this point, Kyler, does it make a difference?
My guy's going to celibate.

Yeah, how does equipment work?

And would backstabbing do more damage than a normal attack?
It's pretty much the only way my guy can get physical

@ Ginger: Backstabbing is an auto critical in some games I think. Not certain what our backstab mechanic is.

What's going on so far?
It’s highly probable that Satan has chosen [Lauren] Faust to be his modern-day emissary of evil. The signs are clear.
I figure Stinging Nettles would be from Hoofington. He would have initially started down the path as an apothecary because of his ill grandfather. I imagine his grandfather as a pegasus who eventually lost the use of his wings due to injury and eventually had to have them amputated.
This inspired Stinging Nettles to try and find ways to help ponies with injuries or illnesses similar to his grandfathers. After finishing school, he bought a wagon which doubled as his workshop and set off to find new herbs or formulations that might revolutionise medicine.
I figure he's been on the road for several years now, plying his wares to people and getting by as he can.
Of course, this is the greatly condensed version.

AD&D had multipliers for backstabbing (and they got pretty big as the rogue leveled... like x4), but I've been told the newer D&Ds dropped that for Sneak Attack, which adds extra dice (amount dependent on level).
Wow, MLP ranked as #1 tv show on Netflix? That strikes me a little ridiculous, but I guess that's the strength of the Brony legion.

Add me to the list of people who have never played a tabletop rpg and have no idea what you're all talking about. As such, I probably won't be joining in unless I get convinced through some shenanigans. So I guess I'm asking for you to make it as entertaining as possible to read.
@Netflix. Uh...wow. That's something.
