I was referring to Kyler. And Gigner, of course you're smart enough to play. What makes you think you aren't? You don't have to minmax if you don't want to anyway.
If there is anything that you are alone in thinking, it's "thinking that you're alone in thinking of your theories".
Re: not having enough fighters:Well, I might give Stinging Nettles a respectable strength score, after all, collecting some of the herbs he uses would require a good bit of digging. I also imagine he'd have some muscle from grinding the things he collects into poultices and such.

Gully Foyle is my name,
and Terra is my nation.
Deep space is my dwelling place,
and death's my destination.
None...
EVER
Given the way you guys are talking I'm not surprised that I never bothered

Don't give up already!

I'm planning on playing a tank.
I understand about... 40% of what you guys are saying, and whenever kegi gets involved in anything I automatically feel stupid and inadequate (since he's pretty much
The Ace around here)

We're using a homebrew system, Freeman. Unfortunately, I don't have the link to the rules document, you'll have to ask someone else.
Be polite. Be efficient. Have a plan to befriend everyone you meet.
Ginger, please don't give up without trying. I'm sorry if I've been a bit impenetrable in my terminology or obtuse in my attitude. I'm just used to gaming since I've been at it for about nine years.

We're going to have to split the party with how many guys we have, right?
Tealove is best pony.

Go go gaming vets!
But yeah, don't be so easily discouraged. To best part about having everyone be more experienced than you is that you can pretty much ask anyone for help.

Don't worry about not understanding Ginger it'll make more sense when we get into it. Just remember to play how you think your character would react to the situation and pray you don't get any 1s.
Any tips for coming up with backstory?

Ohhhh, so unsure, should my EP politician be from Manehattan or Trottingham?
I wonder if having a hilarious accent counts for anything in terms of gameplay? XD

In at least two of my games my character's backstory is important. Of course both cases are a bit unusual, so you're actually right to some extent.

I suppose that one way to handle it. Of course, I might just drop out to make handling things a bit easier, or make room for other folks.

I've never seen backstory actually be relevant in any game I've played beyond establishing personality and starting conditions.
Well apparently, the more elaborate you make it, the less likely it is to ever come up.
