Anyway, we should make a list of everyone who wants to play and what times and days they want to play on.

As for me. I am available anytime that isn't Sunday or Thursday. I can make exceptions for the latter but never the latter. Also I am unavailable afternoons tuesdays.

Me, I'm game and would be active/semi-active during various times (Unpredictable schedule, but I can make lots of time to post, lol).

Cookoo: I thought you guys were doing play by post? While it is possible to do real time across time zones (IRC RP manages, although as stated before, people out of timezone sometimes fall asleep or just can't make it).

As a general note, if this is going to be a mostly social RP, do you really need to be stat blocking and using other RPG elements like that?

Eh, I'll give it a shot. I'm always on. Might use one of my two OC characters from my fic.

Oh, wait, those are actually ponified humans. Doesn't matter, got an actual pony for a different fic that I might give a test run.

Hey guys, posting from my phone on a lunch break.

@Ace Those skills are pretty close to the general direction I'd like to go with them. Do remember, though, that each skill is going to be tied to a particular attribute, and that needs to be taken into account when designing them.

As for characters, yeah it's pretty much going to be OC's. Playing as canon characters might be cool for a one-shot campaign, but those only really work for live sessions.

@Kuroi This is going to be an adventure as opposed to a Slice of Life RP. It's not going to be combat focused, there are almost always alternatives to violence, but there will be dangers to be confronted.

I'd be interested in the rp though I'd be most active after 9:00 pm est and that's on the weekdays.

I have a general lack of a life, so for now I can be on at pretty much any time and in two weeks it'll be from 6 GMT (1 hour from now) to 10.

I ask again, since everyone apparently missed it the first time, what's this about an RP?

For a play-by-post game, it doesn't really matter when you're available as long as you don't leave the game hanging for days on end.

We're home brewing a Pony tabletop game.

Lurker: Ah. Yea, I guess a pure adventure would probably benefit from some extra structure.

In the IRC, we run entirely free form. It's mixed slice of life and adventure, just like the show. I couple times it's come down to fighting although a 5 or 6 pony battle in that format is still quite manageable. Then came a fight where almost all the characters were present and had to work to beat some sense into a unicorn who was taking up forbidden magic. People could barely tell what was going on half the time. In other words, the chaos reflected what a fight of that magnitude would have been like in real life. And it was glorious.

They have apple pie for dinner? What do they have for desert?

EDIT: If there's going to be epic pony wars, does that mean races will have a Rock-Paper-Scissors element to them, or simply different stat levels?
