So far, it seems like the most plausible theories are

• New character did it

BTW does anyone know how the rewatching the series so far is going to work yet?

I lack sufficient context to answer that question.

Basically in between series 2 and 3 we might be watching series 1 and 2 again so we don't descend as quickly into madness as we would otherwise.

Me, I'll just rewatch on my tablet or something then post my comments, if I can't make it to our group viewings.

If y'all want I can load all my pony onto a batch of dvd-r discs and snail-mail them to a convenient pickup point for the group view host, I'm collecting the 720p episodes from youtube so I have a backup set :D

Another question about the potential RPG, can we play characters from the original series or do they all have to be completely new? And what time period of Equestria is it set in? Is it during the current timeline of the series or before or after?

I'm watching Brainscratched crew play Pokemon Silver.

Throwing my two cents in about the RP (I likely wouldn't have time to create a character for it myself, but I could totally join in every once in a while as an NPC or something if the GM needs a load lightening in terms of character control): the way we do it in the IRC RP is to play all original characters, but the main six or other canon characters might show up as NPCs. Part of the reason is it's really fun to develop a character from scratch and another part is people not maining a main six means they don't steal the show over other characters. So keep that in mind when you guys make your decision.

I think it's also easier since you don't have to worry about trying to follow an existing characterization.

Right, just finished my outstanding coursework. When I get back to college, I'll have a small thing to do I can't do at home, then just one more module to go, which should be relatively quick to do.

Anyway, I have a question about the pony RP, when are we doing it? Not what day, but what time in the day, as it would be tricky to find a time where everyone who wants to play is able to due to work/family/timezones.
