Oh! Kuroi Tsubasa Tenshi, that was very...affectionate. Thank you.
@Star Swirl: I suppose we might be entering the philosophical debate arena on the subject of names. Also some ponies get tired of being mistakenly called because they share names. Personally I prefer to have ponies get creative with their names, because there are interesting new names waiting to be discovered.
Oh, trust me, Ace Of Scarabs, I understand! This is why I prefer to use full names and titles! (Well, at least one of the reasons.) I think that I'll try get creative whe I name my second foal. Still, this naming convention has become a tradition in my family. I wouldnt want to dissapoint my ancestors by never havihg a Star Swirl the Hundred and Forty Eighth. Plus, I'm not that creative.

Maybe I should leve the naming of my second born to the father.
On the topic of titles, technically my troper handle is a title or merc rank, modelled after the naming convention for playing cards, specifically rank of suit.
Fascinating.
Nicknames are like additional names, perhaps a name you prefer being called by or a pet name your friends, family, or very special some pony calls you :3
Well, personally, I like to be called Star Swirl the Hundred and Forty Seventh, which is my real name (Why would you want to be called something that isn't your real name?) and I...don't actually
have a very special somepony yet. It's...a little intimidating.
Fascinating. I must investigate!
