Honestly, one of the biggest problems people have with roleplaying is remembering to keep player-knowledge and character-knowledge separate. For instance, if you as a player are aware that Ginger is planning his inevitable betrayal, keep in mind that your character doesn't know that, and shouldn't be making plans to prevent it.
