Still don't think the town's Easily Forgiven stance is at all odd, and is in fact perfectly in character for the ponies we know. None of them ever seem to hold onto grudges, and really anypony is willing to forgive another for pretty much anything as long as they own up to there mistake and sincerely apologize.

Okay, having watched it again, that particular gripe with the ending isn't as bad. Though I still think them not busting Diamond Tiara or printing their own pictures was a good bit of wasted potential. Sort of like an unfired Chekov's Gun.

And yeah, I think the adult ponies' reactions were...a bit too extreme. I mean, ostracizing three children for something like that is horribly overboard. But other than that and the slow start, I really enjoyed it.

seems no worse then throwing a glass of water (just the water not the glass itself) in someone face, rude, yes, technicly assult, ok yes. But not what anyone would think of when they hear someone assaulted someone else.
